These young people often lack sufficient or accurate information about reproductive health and products. Properly trained pharmacists and other healthcare providers can fill this gap.

Equally, some youth are embarrassed to talk to retail staff. Their needs can also be specific and complex. Hence the Saathiya Helpline, which can also guide them to doctors and ISMPs associated with Saathiya.

Since embarrassment is sometimes a barrier to the acquisition of knowledge, all Saathiya associates are trained to handle inquiries in a friendly, sensitive manner.
