The Saathiya network in every city consists of retail chemists, GPs, obstetricians / gynaecologists, and traditional Indian doctors.

 Care is taken to ensure that there are Saathiya service providers across the length and breadth of each city, to provide young couples from every income group easy access.

Every Saathiya service provider goes through a rigorous training course, designed to impart technical knowledge and sensitivity. The goal is to make Saathiya a symbol of family planning services of global standards.

In every city, Saathiya is officially tied up with the local chapters of the Indian Medical Association, the National Integrated Medical Association, the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, and the Retail Chemists’ Association. Senior government offices are present at every city launch, to demonstrate government commitment to this project.

A Helpline facility is available, operational from 12 noon to 12 midnight, to answer general queries about Saathiya, or help locate a nearby Saathiya outlet.
